This one is going to be very brief, because it's about something incredibly significant, but I don't want to give away any details. I just want to put it out there, and let the overwhelming joy of the event speak for itself.
This morning, as I struggled to wake up and
face another work day, my good friend was being prepped for
surgery. She's fine, very healthy. In fact, so healthy that the reason
for the surgery was that she was anonymously donating a kidney. Today,
someone is getting a second shot at a normal lifestyle. Her surgery was a success. And I hope that the same can be said for the recipient.
After yesterday's crisis of faith in humanity, this event restores my faith in humanity.
